Thornleigh Thunder Basketball is a division of the Thornleigh Sports & Recreation Club (TSC). As a club we manage and enter teams in to the local basketball competitions that are organised by the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Basketball Association at various venues in the local area.
We welcome players of all abilities and place them in a team providing a fun and engaging environment to keep fit and enjoy Basketball while making great friends.
Competitions for School aged children run in conjunction with the school year and are run during the week normally starting around 5pm:
Season A running in line with terms 1 and 2
Season B running in line with terms 3 and 4

Thornleigh Basketball was established in late 2004 based on the program coordinated by John Gallie at Thornleigh West Public School and taking advantage of the excellent new facilities at the "Brickpit".
Thornleigh Basketball is a division of Thornleigh Sports Club playing in the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Basketball Association (HKBA). We have approximately 30 – 40 teams from Primary School, High School and Senior teams, mostly from the Westleigh, Thornleigh and Normanhurst areas.
